Now that you have decided to relocate to our desert community, you should know there are a few qualifications you must have if you’d like be a considered a true resident of the Valley.
You MUST: Be prepared for rest and relaxation.
Do you enjoy morning rounds of golf, weekend spa days, or evening naps poolside? You’ll fit right in with the rest of us here. The Palm Springs area is known for its 5 star golf courses around every corner and is often a place tourist come to get some much needed r&r. Us residents, we take advantage of this lifestyle everyday! As a Coachella Valley resident, you must learn to enjoy the laid back feeling of a desert community, which shouldn’t be hard because really, who doesn’t!?
You MUST: Enjoy sunny and warm weather.
The sun is your friend, embrace it! Us Coachella Valley residents love warm weather so much, we chose to live in it 300 days out of the year! There’s truly no escaping the warm weather here, so local residents spend plenty of time by the pool. Whether you’re lucky enough to have one in your backyard, or are heading over to one of the many resorts and spa pools, there’s more than enough places to cool off. So if you can’t take the heat, get out of the kitchen!
You MUST: Put up with our historic architecture and one-of-a-kind design.
We know it can be tough; our beautiful architectural home designs can be a real eye sore and can be hard to avoid with a different historically recognized building on every corner… All jokes aside, history is in our roots here and makes the Coachella Valley such a unique and special place to live. While these buildings fill our streets, us residents still like to play tourist from time to time stopping by some of the many museums and home tours in our free time.
